Works On Paper

 Working on paper provides another dimension of freedom allowing me to  experiment and delve deeper into my creative practise. I am less inhibited and able to explore and express on a different level.  I have been using charcoal as the first medium to start, and take the work further with acrylic paint, oil sticks and pencil.  The gestural markings have an organic, whimsical touch, and at times more aggressive strokes are applied. Other pieces set the tone with a minimalistic style approach. Overall there is an overpowering influence of Mother nature on this body of work.
